How it works

This circuit board detects the signal from the front magnet located near the charging contact holder on compatible models.

When the robotic mower hits an obstacle, the body moves forward, bringing the magnet closer to the circuit board. This is registered as a collision and the mower changes direction.

Common issue

If the circuit board is faulty or does not receive the correct signal from the magnet, the mower may display an error such as:
“Front collision problem”

This usually means the sensor is not detecting impacts correctly.

Check this first

Before replacing the circuit board, we recommend checking:

• That the cylindrical magnet is correctly installed
• That the magnet is not missing or loose
• That no debris is blocking movement between body and sensor

In many cases, the issue lies with the magnet – not the circuit board.

When to replace

If the magnet is correctly positioned but the issue persists, this circuit board is likely faulty and should be replaced.
