Automower® Connect app provides different connection options depending on your lawnmower model: Automower® Connect is used for long-range connections via mobile communication and Automower® Connect @ Home and Automower® Direct are used for short range connections via Bluetooth.
How exactly do they differ?
1. Automower® Connect connects to the lawnmower via a mobile network, so you can control it anytime and from anywhere. You can also access GPS functions from Automower® Connect, such as map views and theft tracking
2. Automower® Connect @ Home and Automower® Direct connects to the lawnmower within a distance of up to 30 m via Bluetooth.
3. To use Automower® Connect and Automower® Connect @ Home you need to login with your Husqvarna account.
4. If you want to use Automower® Direct, you can connect to the lawnmower without an account; for example, you might want to help family and friends use the lawnmower without having to create an account or add the lawnmower to their own account.
